User-submitted ‘posts’ | How To? | Best Practices?

Hey all,

I’m looking to enable readers/users to post their own ‘help-wanted ads’ to our site. I’m attempting to use the TDOMF plugin, though its been giving me some trouble. (Yes, I am pursuing these in its forum)

I’m wondering if this would be the best approach? Is their a simpler way of doing this?

It would be cool if I could directly manipulate (or design) a template for user comments. (think, creating text areas, custom fields, an image unloader, etc.) Maybe this already exists?
