User Verification Q & A does not work

    The feild set for User Verification Q & A displays in the form as it should but any vaule can be added to this field and the form sends anyway. For example, in my global settings I have a question set up like this:

    Ten minus Five equals=5

    In the form the question displays properly but I can answer the question with the value of 34 and the form will submit.

    Am I setting up the question correctly in global settings?

    You are setting it up correctly. It is a bug. I am working on this.

    This is also an issue for me so leaving this comment so I can follow this thread

    Only just spotted the lack of a Q&A field in the contact form. Is this the same bug?

    @bunzer are you logged in and is “Force CAPTCHA display for logged in users” disabled? That is expected behaviour.

    I was logged-in but it wasn’t disabled. I’d tried a different browser too (not logged in).

    I’ve just changed from Image verification back to the Q&A, and it works now. Very odd.

    Visitor verification is still taking any value. What is the status of this issue?

    In old versions, when cformsII was still checking the answers on AJAX forms, they were only checked via JavaScript. The same is true for the image CAPTCHA on AJAX forms. So you can manipulate the scripts locally and pretend that you answered the question/CAPTCHA correctly.

    I do not want to check the Q&A this way again, but checking it in a better way needs major restructuring of the AJAX form handling. It is still work in progress. I will post here when there is a version available with the change.
