user_login and user_nicename prefixed with Social network name

    When a user registers using WordPress Social Login the user_login and user_nicename fields are both prefixed with the name of the social network they used to register with, e.g.
    ‘Facebook – john doe’ or ‘Google – Jane Doe’
    with only the display_name field displaying anything legible.

    How can I disable this? it interferes with other plugins particularly BuddyPress that use these fields.
