  • could you advise what you did, i am having same problem [email protected]

Would love some help. Same problem.

    Jeremiah Olson

Me, too. I tried resetting the password via my profile on the support pages, but that did no good. I’m virtually certain I have the right username and password, but it gets denied. Worse, when I click the “lost password” link and enter in my username and e-mail, I get an error saying the info is incorrect.

    PLEASE, someone help!

    We have a problem.
login script not here on site

Don’t know if it’s the same problem, but all of a sudden I can’t get to the Dashboard in the admin screen. I am asked for userid and pw and none of my ids and pws work…

Why is there no answers to your posts?

I just installed the Azimet plugin on my blog and then for some reason it said I had to login. I know 100% that I am using correct username and password but can no longer log into my own Blog.

If I click the “lost password” link and enter in my username and e-mail, I get an error saying the info is incorrect??!!

So, is somebody going to help us and advise what we need to do?

    whats azimet?

    lol, sorry, meant Akismet……..D’oh!

Anyway I resolved the issue and posted information in my other post titled: Username & Password No Longer Recognised.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.

I have the same problem. I set my blog aside for quite a while and now when I try to log back in, the username and password that I thought I was using don’t work. I’ve tried every iteration of every username and password that I commonly use, and nothing is working. Is there any way to retrieve a username and password from either the WordPress files on my site (which I can get to) or from WordPress Support?

    We won’t have it here.

    Try the script here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/118810?replies=6

I should mention that odds are, your user name for your own blog is likely “admin”.

And HandySolo is the winner. Your username is not YOUR username, it is ‘admin.’ What’s an hour of my life over a login, I’ve got a few to spare.

And if you want to post here you need to know that your login (not admin) will get you into the forums, but not ‘your’ password. WordPress picked one for ya. ;} Good luck with that.
