Username contains invalid characters

  • Hi, I wanted to try to register a user in entering my username and how I’m “contains invalid characters” error, I did not enter spaces.
    For example, I entered the name “Carlo” and made a mistake, I repeated a second time with the same name and was accepted. Then trying again with the name “Remo” made me mistake I tried “Silvia” and was accepted. Why?

    Hi @giuliferi90,

    This issue may be caused by some security plugins.
    Can you please do a quick conflict test by disabling all plugins except Ultimate member and see if this issue goes away.
    If you have any caching plugins or server side caching, please exclude Ultimate member pages from cache.

    Hi, I turned off the server cache and cache plugins. Then I disabling all plugins except Ultimate Member and I still have the same problem. Why? Thank you

    I am also having this problem and looking for a solution… it drives potential members away if its too difficult. Do you have a solution for this yet?
