Username Does Not Change Properly

  • Hello,

    I am currently with SiteGround and whenever I try to change a usernames, the user can login with both usernames, the old and new. The new username also does not show up in the WordPress Admin. I tried clearing cache with no success. I wonder if it’s related to memcache in some way, it works fine on my test site.

    Any suggestions?

    You can try disabling the Memcache from the SuperCacher if you have it enabled or manually purge the cache completely from the plugin or from cPanel.

    I will take a look soon on a test site, but I can tell you that purging did not help. It still refuses to work.

    Hey Alex! We just rewrote virtually all of the plugin, including how username processing works. Try the latest version and let me know if you still have issues!
