username field without limitation of definition

Hi,

Default WordPress does not allow special characters in usernames. Non-latin characters are silently filtered out, and users cannot create accounts containing Chinese, Japanese letters.

If you have modified the strictness of sanitized username and users can register to your website with Chinese letters username, then Pie Register doesn’t restrict users to login.

Can you please tell us, what error it is showing ?

but we didn’t modify anything in registration function of your plugin or else , chinese simply can register successfully as a user name

and how can I add limitation for it to forbid chinese and length limitation? where to modify it ?

If I may add to this post with a related question: are numbers considered “special characters” in the Name field of the Registration page? My users can enter alpha characters but not numeric characters for First Name and Last Name on:

We tried login/registration with 廣角與望遠三相機系統 username on our testing website. And it works successfully. See screenshots below:

Not sure, why it’s not working on your website. Please contact us through our Contact form on our website, with your website details. We might look into PR plugin code on your website.

There is no option available to limit the length for username field.

Numeric characters are not allowed in Name fields. There is no settings available to allow numbers in name field. You need to modify plugin files to achieve this.
