Username Issue

    The E-mail address I had been using as my login for my admin got deleted and I cannot remember the password. I recognize that I’m probably not going to be able to log back into the site as is, but would it be possible to download WordPress and install over the existing site? Thanks.

  • There are some ways to change the password without logging in – see:

    You will need access via your host to the site files or the database.

    I can’t use any of those. I installed WordPress on the site using Bluehost and don’t have direct access to the database via FTP, PHP, or SQL (it’s my own fault for using the easy way). That’s why I was asking if I could delete the current WordPress files on by just uploading new files using an FTP. I just went ahead and deleted the content in the site and am going to start from scratch using FTP. Thanks for your time, anyway.
