Users and Administrators

I’m working on a WordPress site that requires authors/contributors to be able to write and submit blog posts, but deny them access to certain privileges in the dashboard.

To be more specific, they should only be able to add new blog posts, nothing else. Only the administrator can add new pages, events and services etc.

Can anyone recommend a plugin? Or provide instructions what I can do to enable this feature?
