• Hi,
    For some reason our users are occasionally being automatically unsubscribed from MailChimp. I spoke with support at MC and they said it’s happening through our API.

    MC is integrated through S2Member, so I’m trying to figure out what’s going on. We’ve checked with our users and they did not unsubscribe. We’ve had up to 4 people unsubscribed at one time. I don’t know if it’s an EOT issue, a configuration problem or even an S2Member issue, but I’m hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

  • s2member does not automatically send the EOT dates over to MC (we had to set up a hack to force them over so we could use them) so this is probably not the issue.

    It might be a configuration issue… Check the Automate Un-Subscribe/Opt-Out in the API list serve section. I had some issues with the automation process so I have none of the boxes checked here.

    Are you making changes to the users roles or anything at all to their accounts (the ones that got unsubscribed)?
