Users being set to verified on registration

    Hi,

    I hope you can assist. We would like to require email verification during the checkout process only, which your plugin seems to have the option for. However the issue that we are facing is, if a user registers for a new account they are automatically set to verified, therefore when they go through the checkout process they are not prompted to verify their email address.

    If the user completes a purchase as a guest then the email verification works as expected. What we would really like is for users to be able to create an account, then only need to verify their email once they are trying to purchase a product.

    Hi @liammcluckie,

    Please note that the checkout verification feature is available only in the Customer Email Verification PRO version, and it is not included in the free version of the plugin.

    Additionally, in the PRO version, the checkout verification process is designed to work for guest users only. It will not prompt already logged-in users to verify their email.

    Thanks for the response. We’re using the Pro version of the plugin but we need the verification to be actioned for logged-in unverified users as well, so it sounds like the plugin isn’t going to provide the solution that we need.
