Users can edit other users posts
-
Hello everyone!
I’ve just create a profile page for the users in my site, than allow to see only his own created posts in a list with elementor query ID and this work’s fine. This list have an edit button for each post, than redirect to the edit form with the post_id in the url, for example: https://tradeclaimz.com/editar-tenencia/?post_id=2700
The issue is, if you change the post_id to another one who doesnt belong to the logged user, the user can edit or even delete the post.
I’ve created a custom role so I can edit the WP Capabilities and leave uncheck the “edit_others_posts” option, but this didn’t work (I’ve attach an screenshot). There’s any way to edit the capabilities for the default users?
Besides, if I’ve set the default registration role to this custom role, in the members list page, I can’t see the users.
I don’t know where to start looking.
Tnx inadvance!
The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]
