Users cannot login and any new plugin shows Fatal error

    Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

    I get the same message but with the plugin name when I try activating any new plugin I install. This happened when my site structure went into hyperlinks and I did the (plugin.hold) trick to deactivate and i activated one by one. Users report thy cannot login and the homepage displays the hold header that I updated but does not show unless a user is logged in. Users can log in to post a blog but they cannot see it themselves.

  • Looks like you’re using the WP Cyber plugin, if you can access the wp-admin then deactivate that plugin and delete as well and reinstall again and activate then test if the user can log in or not.

    if you don’t have wp-admin access due to an error then delete the plugin from FTP access.

    I fixed the issue, I guess the php 8.1 version was not compatible with some of the plugins so I went back to 7.4.
