• Hi everyone and Mike Jolley,

My site is private for my students.
I have been using Sidebar login + Widget logic for several years without any problem.
Current plugins status: up to date –> Sidebar login 2.72 and Sidebar login 0.57

No cache plugin, no Jetpack plugin.

Then suddenly, my users tell me that it is impossible to login via the Sidebar login interface.
Using the admin url https://my site.com/wp-login.php, the login works like a charm.

Could you give me any hint to resolve this problem?
I am no developper, just a satisfied user with a problem.

    Thanks in advance.

Of course, as a noob proof, I have to edit my post.

With further “scratching the head” time, I finally get an ugly workaraound.

I managed to determine that the sidebar-login.2.5.2 version is OK but the logged user needs to hit the F5 key in order to see the complete site.
The latter version are broken for me.

It is a bummer to see this behaviour.
For my site, it became a problem after a WordPress update during the summer. My users were able to connect during the spring.

Hence, the issue is not resolved.
I won’t udpate the plugin for now and I am not happy about it because I am sure the time that Mike Jolley devotes to this plugin is for the good.
And I presume he is quite busy wihis work at Automattic ??

Hope it will be fixed some day.
    Cheers
