Can you post a link to your website?

The read more link will show up when you limit the characters or words. Is this not the case?

sorry i wasnt clear about the read more and website links.

i’ve selected the options not to use those features but they still appear as fields for users in the testimonial submission form. its not a huge issue, but i wondered if perhaps the two things were related?

    thanks again.

    Ah ok.

So right now, those options only change the form on the front end using the [hms_testimonials_form] shortcode. I will work on getting those settings to work for the backend (if the user isn’t an administrator).

Does the HTTP error occur when you are logged in as an administrator as well as a user with less privileges? Are you also able to upload items to your media gallery (outside the testimonial plugin). It might be here where there is an issue since the backend screens rely on WordPress to handle the upload and processing.

ah yes, that seems to be it. i made a menu linking the user to the backend submission form (the url in my browser) rather than using the short code in a page.

the issue doesnt occur for me as an admin so that is most likely the issue. i’ll change it now, thanks very much!

and i love the testimonials plugin
