I had installed the free plugin on my website.

but the user has to register with heyoya to post the comment.

Is there a way to avoid it. I dont think users would want to register on another website.

I had to disable the plugin because for each post the user need to have a heyoya account.

Please let me know how to avoid this

    Hi, thanks for reaching out.

Following your question submission about the need to register to Heyoya in order to post comments, we would like to try and clarify things.

First, we don’t ask any commenter to register with Heyoya. Only publishers (websites owners need to register for Heyoya in order to complete the installation process).

Second, we ask commenters to verify their email address only once per devices, and we are doing that for a couple of reasons:

    1. To prevent spam and abuse comments – from our experience, it reduces the spam to the minimum.

    2. Communication – One of our main goals is to bring back the users to your site through email notifications, So if someone liked your comments or replied to it, we update you through email notifications, asking you to go back to the site and keep the debate going.

    Thanks,

    Heyoya Support Team
