Users problem

  • Hi,

    from time to time I’m unable to log into my admin panel due to block created by my webhost because of that brute force attacks..

    so, I decided to change my administrator user: I’ve created a new one, gave him administrators status, and deleted “admin” user. I don’t see “admin” user when I click at “Users”.

    However, when I enter https://mywebsite.com/wp-admin/ I still have “admin” user and my password saved. and i still can log in with it! (I left password the same for the new user if it matters). I can log in with my new user as well..

    but the problem is still there, sometimes I’m blocked from entering my admin panel.. Maybe someone can explain why admin is still there… and the block also..
