• Hello,

I have searched under ‘roles and capabilities’, ‘users’ rights’, ‘screen views’, etc. but I cannot find that anyone has asked this – although it obviously poses an issue!

I have just logged into my new wordpress site to check what a user would “see and feel” – when I get one ??

A User sees the entire “Media library” (wordpress standard) and the “Sales” and “Revenue” screens and graphs (shop plugin only)!

Surely I can’t be alone in that I don’t want that a User has visible access to all the media I use in my blog, all images, sound tracks, etc. Why is this? How can I please take this out of the User’s reach? (Simple solution needed because I am not yet a geek.)

The “Shop” things I have to ask of course at the plugin-creator’s site, but equally I can’t understand why someone would want his Users to have access to such confidential data…?

Am I missing the point on any of the two above?
Any feedback very welcome! Thanks for reading this. I love the ease of wordpress. All is automatic. Wow!

    Best wishes

    David
