Users should post only in “default” category when logged in! How?

  • Hi,

    I have several categories and I also have a “default” category. When users are logged in are able to post to ANY category, however I only want admin to post to ANY category and when users login they should be able to post ONLY in “default” category.

    How can I make only the “default” category to be visible for users when they log in and try to post?

  • Average-joe-users (registered and logged in as subscribers) can not post anywhere.

    Only contributors can submit posts for review and only editors and authors can post without approval.

    So, describe nicely in details why you users can post?

    Also, look around in the Plugins section of the Codex. (hint: Restriction)
