Users subscribed even when opting out

Hi @chelseacarson08, Thanks for contacting us with that question. Adding the right subscribers to your audience is essential, and I am happy to help out.

If the customers have opted out, verify that the customer has declined marketing – you can see this by viewing the customer on the order. If mailchimp_woocommerce_is_subscribed is equal to 0 they opted in at checkout. You can see this in the Custom Fields (usually below the order details).

If the customer is set to 0 as noted, do you have any other plugins that work with Mailchimp that could be impacting the subscriber status?
