Users with apostrophe in Email unable to register

  • Users with apostrophes in their email address are unable to register via the Ultimate Member plugin. For example oldmc’[email protected]

    The field validation flags it up ‘This is not a valid email’

    Wordpress itself supports apostrophes in emails absolutely fine.

    Is there a function or something to circumvent the validation? Or Ultimate Member can just sort this issue.
