    Hello!

I have many users on my site. And I noticed that users with role author have access to Feedzy Import Posts feature. They can create and run new imports and can turn off imports that were created by administrator causing chaos on my site.

How can I deny authors any access to Feedzy plugin?

    Regards, Alex

    Hi @astahov006,

Thank you for reaching out and for using Feedzy!

To customize access to Feedzy’s Dashboard, please follow the steps provided here: https://docs.themeisle.com/article/1869-how-can-i-customize-permissions-in-feedzy.

Let us know how it goes!

    Hi AndreeaR,

    Many thanks for quick answer.

What permissions should I revoke in user role editor to deny access to your plugin?

These permissions relate to your plugin or to something else: edit_published_aggregator-records, edit_others_aggregator-records, publish_aggregator-records and so on?

I see record types Import Posts and Feed Categories with permissions publish_posts, edit_published_posts and so on. But if I revoke these permissions from these record types I see that they are revoked also from the other record types.

    Regards, Alex

    Hey @astahov006,

I created a new user with the Contributor role, having two capabilities: edit_posts and delete_posts. As a result, the Contributor doesn’t have have access to Feedzy’s dashboard – https://vertis.d.pr/i/rw7A9w.

Can you try creating something similar and let us know how it goes?

    Hi?AndreeaR,

I told about users with Author role. I need to deny access to Feedzy for Authors.

    Hi @astahov006,

Thank you for clarifying and I apologize for the confusion!

If you want to deny access to Feedzy, you should keep the following capabilities active for the Authors: edit_posts and delete_posts.

To configure these, you can use the User Role Editor plugin.
