• Hello Varun,

I created an issue on Github, but am posting here as well in the event other people also have this question.

I have a user with multiple roles in WooCommerce (the normal “Customer” role and a “Licensee” role) and I am trying to allow the user that also has the “Licensee” role to receive a discount on a specific product, but normal pricing on the rest of the products (as the “Customer” role would receive).

Is there a way to apply the discounts/special pricing just for those users that also have the additional “Licensee” role?

Also, when using role-based pricing for a product, is there a way to have a base price (a default price) that would be applied to all other roles that do not have a specific role-based price?

    Thank you,

    -Rhett

    Hello Rhett,

I am using WPFront User Role Editor on one of my setups with RBP and it allow me to have two roles to be applied therefor you can have role prices for specific products and if you leave those prices empty for other automatically it should apply base price to that role.

Second option would be to use role based coupons plugin that we made with specific discount to specific products.

I can’t say that these are 100% solutions but it is worth to try.

    Hi Amis,

We are using the Members plugin to do the same thing – with adding/editing roles. The shoppers have the Customer role in WooCommerce and we have left pricing empty for that role and provided a special price for a Subscribers (not the internal WP role) role, but it is not picking up the special role pricing.

    Hello,

I have the same problem. Product prices showed only that case if the price is in the user’s primary role. Any other cases the price will be not showed.
