It looks like the plugin uses the original product image. This slows down the display of search results and/or the Details pane because it has to wait for the images to load before the results are shown. This is particularly obvious when floating your mouse over the details pane.

It would be better if a thumbnail could be specified for the image to be used (or, perhaps, the plugin could dynamically display a smaller version of the image).

    Hi there,

There is dedicated size 64px width. Install the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin and rebuild all sizes.

    Perfect – thanks.

I did it using this WP-CLI command:

    wp media regenerate –image_size=dgwt-wcas-product-suggestion

This allowed me to update it without having to regenerate all image sizes.

As a feature suggestion, it would be a good idea if the installation instructions explained the need to do this OR if the plugin had an option to regenerate just that image size after installation.

This plugin is awesome – thanks. Evaluating it for a large WC store and will look at upgrading to the premium version if it works out.

    Thank you!

You are 100% right. I added it to my todo list. WooCommere has own mechanism to regenerate thumbnails and I will try to discover and use it for cut thumbs automatically after the first installation. This feature should be finished soon.

Correction to my earlier wp media command. The correct syntax is:

    wp media regenerate –image_size=dgwt-wcas-product-suggestion
