I have created several custom roles using the “Members” plugin and selected those roles in my 2FA settings. When I login to a user that has one of those roles, it doesn’t show the 2FA prompt or ask me to set up 2FA. I am using the standard WP login page but a custom login URL using WPS Hide Login. How can I get 2FA to prompt the user to set up 2FA once they are assigned a custom role?

As a related question, when I go to the profile page for the user with the custom role, there are no 2FA settings available. I actually want to disable the profile page and create a custom 2FA page but when I tried using the plugin settings, the custom 2FA page was blank.

    UPDATE:
Originally the user I am testing had 2 assigned roles (‘subscriber’, and a custom role). When I removed the ‘subscriber’ role, and tried to login, I got a blank 2FA prompt. By blank I mean it showed our site logo and a “Back to Site” link, but nothing else.

    UPDATE:
When I view the “Edit User” page for the user I am testing, it shows the WP 2FA settings header and description, but there are no buttons or options to change or configure settings for the user. (see screenshot at https://paste.pics/5a6794e27dfd8ca02f42a7b0866d5232)

Thank you very much for trying our plugin @justinios

It seems like there are multiple issues and you need quite a “custom” setup, which won’t be easy to solve over this forum thread.

Can you please send us an email at support at wpwhitesecurity dot com so we can start addressing the issues?

Looking forward to hearing from you.
