Using a menu inside a post

Hello Developer,

I want to show a list of a few items in one of the blocks in the Carousel slider.
I did this by creating a new menu and placed it in the specific post as a widget.
This works as I had in mind however when I update the menu in appearance -> menus; the Carousel slider doesn’t update. after I open the post with the menu widget on the admin area and update the page it does update the menu.

It works but its kinda weird to explain to my clients.
What can I do to make this easier?
