Using a “page” at a higher level than the blog.

  • Sorry for the rather long title!

    I’ve got a blog in a sub-directory of my site & don’t want to move it – as the URL has got known.

    However, the home page is very neglected & pretty bland. I’ve realised that one answer might be to use the page tool to create a page – however, from what I can tell, they seem to be at the same level as the blog, not a higher one.

    Is it actually possible to do what I want – or would it be much quicker just to create the page in something else & upload it the old fashioned way- and just be more disciplined about doing something with it?!
