Sadly at this time, WordPress plugins that use static page caches such as W3 Total Cache and WP Super Cache kick in before this plugin has a chance to send the special header.

    You have three options:

    – Turn your caching plugin off and use this plugin.
    – Turn static page caching off and use this plugin.
    – Don’t use this plugin, continue to use caching, and add the header at the server level. There are some guidelines to do that here: https://www.gnuterrypratchett.com/

I’ll update this post and the plugin if I find a workaround for this.

It’s now perfectly fine to use this plugin with a WordPress caching plugin.

As of version 0.2.0, the plugin adds a meta tag to your HTML and to outgoing wp_mail() email, both of which are visible even when using a caching plugin.

If you want HTTP headers to work while using a caching plugin, you’d need to implement them at the server level. Check out your options at: https://www.gnuterrypratchett.com/
