Using add_image_size with Jetpack photon

    That function is still useful, as it will generate the proper image size to use in your different theme templates. Jetpack’s Photon module will then look at that image and its size, and will generate a Photon image matching the size parameters you picked.

    I hope this clarifies things a bit.
