Using Amazon S3 can't see site on front end but can on back end

  • I set up AmazonS3 in W3 Total Cache and uploaded all the images, theme files and wp-includes as instructed.

    When I look at the site from the back end, even when I “view page”, I can see the site fine. But when I click to go to “Visit site” I only get a white page. Totally blank with nothing on it.

    If I go to the homepage via the wp-admin dash and then “view page”, I can see the page again.

    I have no idea what I have done wrong.

    I have deactivated the plugin so I can see the site but would like to use the plugin.

  • Do you get any errors in the console? Can you manually visit the s3 links to see content? Are you using the CDN, if yes origin pull or push?

    I’ll check all of these things.

    I definitely can manually see all the S3 links.

    I have Amazon S3 enabled on the CDN setting.

    I’ll also try to disable all the other plugins to see how it goes.
