Using an ACF shortcode as a Recipient?

Hi, great plugin to use with ACF but is it possible to use an ACF shortcode from another ACF Group as the recipient for the email, e.g.
[acf field="email" post_id="options"]

I’ve tried adding this shortcode as the default text to a field in the form group but doens’t resolve to the email address.
