Using CPT with plugin

  • Hi Jeff,

    I’m currently using the Zoomfolio plugin by DZS. I’d like to be able to pull my related posts from the custom post type “portfolio items”. I didn’t need to register my CPT though so I’m not sure how to do this. Everything I’ve read in the forums, FAQ and readme section gives instructions for how to call a CPT when you’re registering it.

    I know you deal with questions on this topic a lot so I appreciate you helping me with it and I’m sorry if I’ve missed the instructions on how to do this somewhere. I really did try to search through everything before I had to ask.

    I’d recommend you reach out to the Zoomfolio author for how to incorporate 'yarp_support' => true into their plugin. Themes and plugins that automatically register custom post types usually have an easy method for allowing this. I’d be interested in knowing how they respond, though.
