Using Custom CSS manager in themes

    I’ve added the Custom CSS Manager to my plugins. Have added the following code into the manager code box:

    .entry-date{
border-radius: 50%;
width: 55px;
height: 55px;
}

    The post dates don’t change. I’m sure the css code is ok.
    What am I doing wrong?
