Using custom sidebar on category archive page

  • I have a custom sidebar and have found how to display it on the main posts page and the single post pages, but can’t find how to display it on category archives.

    Can anyone help?

    I’m using a child theme and can change archive.php but I don’t know how to call the custom sidebar.

    Anyway, I assume theres a way to do it within the theme that I’m missing…
