    Hi

Since last update I am having problem with stock quantity. My shop is selling fabrics and we need decimal stock quantity as minimum quantity is 0.5 m and you can buy 0.6, 0.7 etc. Now all fabrics that have stock quantity less than 1 are shown as Out of stock which is not truth. We are using Quantities and Units for WooCommerce plugin which is not supported anymore but this problem came with last WC update. Can someone help me solve this problem?

    Best regards

    Josip

  • You’ve answered your own question – using a plugin that isn’t being updated when WC is can end up with the plugin breaking if WC is updated! If it’s this one: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/quantities-and-units-for-woocommerce that it hasn’t been updated in 7 years – there’s been some major updates with WC in that time!!

Easiest option would be to find another plugin to do what you need!

I am aware of that but this plugin is so simple and does what I need. I have tried other similar plugins but they all have some problems and don’t suite me. I will try to solve it by my own somehow. Tnx!

    Hi @zocker23

I recommend using the WooCommerce Measurement Price Calculator plugin as a workaround. This plugin allows you to sell products based on their dimensions, square footage, volume, or weight, which might suit your fabric business.

However, as you’ve mentioned that you’ve tried other plugins that didn’t suit your needs, another option might be to consider hiring a developer to customize the functionality for you.

If you’re comfortable with code, you could also try to adjust the code of the plugin yourself. However, please note that this is not recommended unless you’re familiar with PHP and WordPress/WooCommerce development, as it could potentially cause other issues with your site.

I hope this helps, and please let us know if you have any other questions.

Hi there we are using the “Measurement Price Calculator by Skyverge” and have the same issue, anything with stock under 1m is all showing as out of stock. Has been happening since Woocommerce 7.8.2, so far no solution ??

    Hey @dellalan,

I see you have already created your own topic here, thanks for that ??

I’ve gone ahead and responded on your own thread there.

    Cheers!
