Using Easy Recipe with user submitted post

I am trying to allow my logged in users to post recipes from the front end and am using user submitted post to allow posts for most of my site. However the easy recipe buttons don’t appear on the rich text editor. all of my other plugins show on this editor.
Can you give me any guidance on what I might need to modify to have it show up? The buttons appear on the add post from dashboard.
