Using Email address in "send mail" option

My site is setup to use your email address instead of username for users to login. I’m trying to customize the user email that is sent via your system and change:

Username = **username** to Username = **email**

However, nothing I do will insert the user’s email address into the email. Can this be done with your plugin?
