Using gram instead of kg

    Hi,
    I’d like to display prices per 1000 g instead of 1 kg (selling coffee), because I have product weights in grams.
    As I see, I can not do it now.
    I think only 1 additional number field should be added Above/below
    “Recalculated price additional text ( /kg )”
    and used for re-calculation.
    So I’d use:
    “Recalculated price additional text ( / 1000 g )”
    and I’d add “1000” into the described new number field…
    Would you consider to implement it in one of the next updates?

    Hi,

    so if I understand it right you’ll need a recalculation ratio. Like you have 5$/200g so you need to recalculate it as if the weight is divided by 1000 to make it in KGs.

    I wanted to incorporated some of these thoughts into a premium version of this plugin. But I still didn’t decided to make one ??

    yes, I’d like to set up a recalculation ratio. ??

    Since showing such unit prices is required by law in the EU for a bunch of product groups, I think a premium version could be easily sold on marketplaces like CC, for let’s say 29 USD, knowing it is about 20 lines of code per unit price ( my fellow countrymate has posted it somewhere in Woo forums, what can be reached via Google search.

    Despite that snippet, I would also pay for a premium plugin ( multi language, multiple unit prices, recalculation ratios per unit prices, etc. ) an affordable price trying to avoid child theme tweaks…

    BTW why did you create a free plugin if you don’t want to create its premium version? ??

    Hi Martin,

    since it was urgent for me, I had bought a WC plugin which adds 100+ extra features to WC, they added this unit price feature to their plugin.
    I don’t want to name it here publicly…
