Using HTML in blog title?

Hi. Newbie, but one who’s searched the codex and come up dry.
I want to use the
<strike>tag in the title of my blog, so it looks like — this probably won’t resolve, but —<strike>120</strike> 146 miles without a map
(That is:
<strike>120</strike>146 miles without a map)However, the title displays the HTML including the angle-brackets as if it’s regular text. How can I fix this?
