When using an iPad, a user incurs this error when clicking into any field on the form:

    Safari cannot open the page.
The error was, “The URL can’t be shown”.

Further testing reveals that the form is also not fillable from an Android phone.

When using an Android phone, if a user clicks into any field on the form, the result is a blank page!

    Hi teleguy53,

I’m sorry for the trouble, and unfortunately it sounds like your site is having some other issues that are causing what you see in this form. Most often when your site behaves this far off how it should, the best next step is to contact your hosting provider — they should be able to help you to set up error logging and detect the precise cause.

If you’d like, you can also try to track down the cause with these troubleshooting steps: https://wpforms.com/docs/how-to-test-for-theme-or-plugin-conflicts/. I would also advise setting up error logging, which may help to point you towards the exact cause and save some steps (in case it helps, you can find steps to set that up in Jared’s message here).

However, many hosting providers would be willing to take these steps for you, and that can often be much faster — so it’s generally worth asking if they’re willing to help you troubleshoot. Either way, I’d advise taking a site backup before starting this process just to be safe.

If you’d like, we can also take a look at the URL where the form is embedded and look for any issues visible in the code. And if you have any questions about what I’ve described above, please let me know.

    Thanks!

    Hi teleguy53,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread. Please feel welcome to continue the discussion, though, and let us know if we can help.

    Thanks!
