also showing on locations, but submitting a comment, i have no idea where it goes as can’t see it in admin

did you check the settings of Jetpack mobile if there’s any options to disable the comments?

Yes no settings. Only occurs on search and locations.

It sounds likely that the Jetpack mobile theme includes the comments form when you’ve excluded it from your main theme.

This is really an issue for the developers of Jetpack, rather than an EM issue.
