Using jquery for single page layout?

Hi guys, I’m not entirely sure as to whether or not this is where I should post this… If i’m in the wrong area let me know!

Alright… So here’s what i’m wanting.

I want to create a single page design for my website. It will only have 4 to 5 menus. The easiest way for me to describe how i would like the menus to be setup is to show you guys some examples.

I would like to something like these two Themes:

I assume that these menus on these themes are done by Jquery? I guess what my real question is… What would you say would be the easiest way to accomplish this? Is there a plugin for wordpress that will allow me to customize menus like this? Or will I have to write the script my self?

Really, at this points just looking to be pushed into the correct direction.. Cause i feel like i’m going in circles! Haha.
