Using Mega menu with gutenberg and full site editing?

    I am curious if the plugin works well with Gutenberg and Full Site Editing.
    I am exploring the plugin right now.
    I run the WP tutorial site: easywebdesigntutorials.com and give feedback to specific plugins that I feel has something about it. Now I am looking into Mega Menu to see how it might play with Gutenberg and Full site Editing. I also sent you a message on WP make slack.

    I found this thread from 2022 where you replied:

    What I noticed was that the default FSE menu I had before adding the Mega Menu plugin was not added to the Appearance -> Menus area. Here it would be good to automatically add existing menus added through FSE into the Mega menu and Appearance -> Menus area.

    Is there anything you would like to add?

    Hi Paal,

    I’m not sure exactly how Gutenberg handles menus, but I think on first install Gutenberg dynamically creates a basic menu for you, but it does not yet “exist” in any saved state, and it is therefore not automatically “backported” to the Appearance > Menus page. Unfortunately the format of Gutenberg menus and pre-Gutenberg is entirely different, so porting them from one format to the other is not straight forward.

    Installing Max Mega Menu on an FSE theme will restore the Appearance > Menus page, where the menu can be built, then displayed using the Max Mega Menu block.
