Using multinational flags slows down page load

    Hi!

    I’m absolutely loving this plugin so far — thank you Paul! It’s perfect for what I’m trying to achieve with my site, but I’m hitting one snag: when I use the multinational template for a product, posts take around 10 seconds to load.

    If I switch it out for a thumbnail template, for example, the load time is much improved.

    Can anyone help me with this issue?

    The multinational template has to get the price for all the locales that it displays, so takes longer to retrieve the product information from Amazon’s servers.

    If you enable the cache in the Amazon Link settings then after the first load of that page it should be much faster.

    Thanks Paul, already noticing a difference ?? I’d overlooked the Amazon cache ‘enable’ button somehow during set up. Thanks ever so much for your help, this plugin is fantastic ??
