Using my_the_content_filter to show custom fields in post

Hi there

I am trying to include a custom field called ‘address’ in a custom post type – single-hotels.

I was suggested to use my_the_content_filter because otherwise the custom field is showing underneath the facebook connect box if I put it after the_content, however, I cannot get it to work. Can anyone show me what the code could look like… please?
