Using News 640 theme…comments misplaced

Using the News Magazine Theme 640 theme and the plug in creates a comment box ok, but cannot get it to appear on the proper part of the page…shows up below all other content (three columns then shows up flush left as new content). Want it at bottom of the middle content, which is the post content itself. Do I need to move the ID or class for the plug in the WP editor somehow or turn off something in traditional WP comments?
