    Hi janetdakey,

there are only two parameters for this shortcode:

    [yoast-breadcrumb before="<div class="breadcrumb" itemprop="breadcrumb">" after="</div>"]

These parameters are for the html markup, not for any functions inside the breadcrumbs. This shortcode is “just” displaying the breadcrumb, it is not modifying it.

What you want to do is not possible with this plugin. There is a setting page for breadcrumbs, you should take a look at those options.

    Hi,
so this is how the code must look? I’ve been using only <div class=”breadcrumb”>[yoast-breadcrumb]</div> and nothing more (works). Maybe that’s why I get error message in Google Search Console’s AMP page saying “the tag span can’t have attribute xmlns:v”. Or how do you get rid of the error message? Sorry for hijacking the thread, but I suspect the error message might have something to do with me not using the full code.

Update: I tried the above code but the xmlns:v stays. So how do you get rid of it, since Google dislikes it? ??

    Kind Regards
    Johan

Johan you have to understand, that this shortcode is just diplaying Yoast’s breadcrumb. Whatever markup or functional questions you have, you have to ask Yoast. I really can’t help you in this issue.

    Hi,

thanks for the help! I’ll turn to Yoast.

    Johan
