Using piped field values in calculations

I have some radio buttons with pipes, like for example
a radio like:
[radio amt-preset label_first “Kama?āina|1”]. In such a case the calculation should use 1 as a value in the calculation:

[calculator amt-reg calculationcf7_Precision:2 “amt-preset + amt-custom”]
