    Hi,

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

Can you maybe try extending the used Shortcode to

    [table id=123 cache_table_output=false /]

    (with the correct table ID)?
That should hopefully lead to necessary JS code being loaded as well.

If that does not help, can you please post a link to the page with the table where this problem happens, so that I can take a direct look? Thanks!

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi Tobias,

Really appreciate the response, thank you.

    I tried using:
    [table id=1 responsive=scroll cache_table_output=false /]
    and
    [table id=1 cache_table_output=false /]

but this didn’t solve the problem.

I’m afraid I can’t post a link to the page because it is public and this project has to remain private until launch.

I appreciate you may not want to post your email address here but if you could contact me at [email protected] I will send you the link and access to Admin if needs be.

    Many thanks,

    Clive

    Hi Clive,

that’s weird then. I have no clue why the popups are not working then. TablePress is not modifying the HTML code in the cells in any way here…

    I’ve sent you an email.

    Hi,

just as follow-up for everybody reading this: I’ve looked into this directly with clivewilson’s help, and we found that each popup that is created with Popup Maker has a setting as to where it is active (or rather where it’s content is added, e.g. the Home page only, or in posts, etc.) Setting that fixed the issue here ??

    Regards,
    Tobias

@tobiasbg – Glad you got it worked out. We are making some big UI/UX improvements in the next version of Popup Maker that will make these types of things more obvious.

I think @tobiasbg is becoming a legend in his own lifetime for the level and speed of support he provides so I’m really grateful for the help.

For the recor,d I’ve tried half a dozen table plugins for my project and only TablePress works smoothly, consistently and does exactly what you expect it to, whereas some of the others out there are trying to be good with fancy interfaces but are poorly implemented and seem to result in inconsistent/erratic behaviour.

Of all the pop-up plugins I’ve tried too only Popup Maker actually does what it says on the tin. It’s my fault entirely for missing the setting that Tobias found, not Popup Maker’s as it’s very clear and obvious in the Popup editor, I just hadn’t thought to look there.

Thanks for your input @danieliser, it’s good to hear even more improvements are on the way to what is already an excellent and highly recommended plugin.

@clivewilson – Awesome, please take a moment to rate and review Tablepress & Popup Maker.
