Using 'Press this' creates double images in media library

  • Using ‘Press this’ to create a blog post creates images twice in the media library after uploading, where there only should be one. Is this a bug perhaps?

    I’ve been having this same issue. I think it has something to do with the way the images are linked in the code of the post. Seems it imports two images in order to show one in the post.

    Hope someone has an idea for this and a way to get rid of the extra images in the library without mucking up all the posts.

    This is still an issue. It only happens when I use PressThis to bring an image into the Media Library when I create a post. Somehow it adds -1 to the image file name. I wish I could figure it out because in all these months I have a lot of images doubled.
